Note: Incase that you have installed the previous version make sure to make a clean uninstall. Go to the previous version file folder and click uninstall.cmd or you can refer to the previous post to know more about the trend of this update.
Instruction:
1. Download OpenVPN with Stunnel for B315s-936.
2. Extract the file on your desktop using 7zip, winrar or any file extractor.
3. Open the folder and click on install.cmd file. The modem will reboot until command prompt disappears.
4. Head over to OpenVpn Web UI (192.168.8.1:8080)
5. Login using default username: admin password: admin
6. Upload your stunnel.conf file and run it.
7. Upload your openvpnssl.ovpn file and run it as well.
8. Monitor the log area to see activity.
9. You will see "Initialization complete" once connected to server.
Installation Issues Solved.
Due to previous openvpn installed on the modem, many are getting difficulties on installing the new update. The easiest way to resolve the issue is to hard reset the modem by pressing the reset pinhole using a pin for at least 30 seconds. Once the modem is reset you may now proceed to installation process, no need to uninstall the old one as it is already erased during the hard reset.
** This only works on some modem (This may or may not work for you).
If above step won't work download and extract this Uninstall command. Click here.
