How to Setup Openvn over SSL Server (B315s-936)

   Like what we had seen, the breakthrough on the Openvpn installation on B315s-936 and B525-65a Modem is really remarkable. It had drawn the attention of many and are so excited for the upcoming development of the said achievement. Like with other technologies nowadays, many vpn enthusiasts expect more than its prototype. Jerome Laliag, the author of the Openvpn Client 2.5 brought it to the next level as part of its developmental phase. Yesterday, marks his release of the Openvpn over Stunnel protocol. Thus making it possible to connect to server using SSL.

Today I will share to you how to setup Openvpn over SSL (Stunnel) Server. This is base on Jerome Laliag's post himself.


Requirements:

Fresh VPS running on Ubuntu 16 x64 bit OS. With Root Access.
SSH Client (Bitvise or Putty - See the previous post)

Steps:

1. Login to your VPS and run the script below.

wget "https://www.dropbox.com/s/c97znp5horcrl1b/openvpn.sh?dl=1" -O openvpn.sh && chmod 777 openvpn.sh && ./openvpn.sh (your payload here)

**Note: Check the logs and be mindful of the username and password at random.

2. Add User to your openvpn by following the command below.

useradd USERNAMEHERE

3. Change User Password in OpenVPN(Change USERNAMEHERE to your username and change PASSWORDHERE to your password.)

echo "USERNAMEHERE:PASSWORDHERE" | chpasswd 

4. To See the list of Users on your Server just run this command.

cut -d: -f1 /etc/passwd

5. Follow below format to get your ovpn files.

http://VPSIPADDRESS/openvpn.ovpn - Normal config

http://VPSIPADDRESS/openvpnssl.ovpn - Config with stunnel

http://VPSIPADDRESS/stunnel.conf - Stunnel config file

http://VPSIPADDRESS/openvpn.tgz - All config

How to Install Openvpn With Stunnel on your B315s-936 Modem

Well if this will be your first time to install make sure that modem adb and telnet are open. If not please check the previous post.

1. Download Openvpn with Stunnel (vPnas_Inspired) here.
2. Extract the file folder to your desktop and run install.cmd.
3. Wait for the process until its done. Modem will reboot.
4. Now head over to Openvpn Web_UI at http://192.168.8.1:8080
5. If it prompts you to enter username and password, input the following. Username: jerome Password: laliag
6. Import your stunnel.conf file and click on upload.
7. Click on Run/Start Stunnel.
8. Upload your openvpnssl.ovpn config.
9. Input your account details and save.
10. Click on Connect Openvpn and enjoy the internet. 
**Note: This works on all SUN TU and CTC Promos.
