As promised on
our previous post, we will now discuss the android version of HTTP Injector. Its
seems a little bit complicated to get the injector works on PC however
following the guide and getting the idea behind it will never let you down.
HTTP injector on Android however is way different than the PC version. It offers a lot of options to increase online
security and anonymity on the internet. It also has it’s own servers too when
you are lazy enough to find some good ssh services online. All you need to do
is to touch few buttons and key in short URLs and you are now good to go.
HTTP
Injector supports universal SSH/Proxy/SSL/TLS/Shadowsocks even direct
connection which are not present on the desktop version. This app is developed
by Evozi and is available on Google Play store.
The app is free and is being supported by ads. You can also buy the pro
version for $2.99 or P150 for an ads free version. HTTP Injector has a lot to
offer on the table yet we will only be discussing the universal SSH and SSL/TLS functions.

Android 4.0.3 and up
SSH Connection
(with built-in Server)
The easiest way to get it to work is to use
the built-in server integrated to the app itself. There are several server
locations (countries) to choose from and has it's own working proxy server. The
only negative side here is that the server reboots every hour or two depending
on the server you selected. That means you will get disconnected every now and then.
However, it will automatically reconnects itself after a minute or two. An ad
will suddenly shows up on your screen and you have to wait 5 seconds at least to
get rid of it.
Setting up the payload depends on the tunnel type you have
selected. Lets head over to the tunnel type and put a check on the small box
that says custom payload.(Touch the little radio button that indicates HTTP
proxy otherwise custom payload will be grayed out). Afterwards, hit save.
Now, lets touch
the menu, scroll down and select server. Available servers will show up
based on it's specific locations. Select one and make sure to turn SSH and
proxy server on. Select port 80 or 8080.
Touch the little menu once more and
select the Payload Generator. Same with the PC version, the general rule is to
find a working website or URL that can be accessed with or without data plan.
(For FBT fanatics you know what I am talking about).
Find
a suitable payload and try to play around on the different header options. Keep
Alive and Online Host will do if you have a legit connection or mostly when you
are registered to a promo. Finally hit Generate payload and lets kick start the
app and enjoy browsing the internet.
It will ask you to input your desired username and password then click on create. Afterwards, details of your account will be posted after successful registration. Again, copy it and save it elsewhere. That is all we need and we are now ready to input it on our HTTP Injector.
Gather our account info and input on our HTTP Injector. Just head over to the menu button and select SSH Settings.
SSL/TLS (Stunnel4)
Another option
that HTTP Injector is capable of, is the ability to connect through SSL/TLS
tunnel. SSL connection is way better than Secure Shell in terms of speed.
Without compromising security and anonymity, SSL offers a blazing faster speed.
Most SSL/TLS servers run on ports 443 and 444. Another edge of SSL/TLS from SSH
is the way how to set it up. It uses a spoof server or what we call SNI. SNI, theoretically speaking creates the bridge on most ISP’s firewall to gain
access on blocked websites and certainly reduces censorship. HTTP Injector’s
built-in Servers also support SSL/TLS connection but not most of them. Majority
of the servers are limited only to SSH and proxy and does not support SSL/TLS
at all. Well there is nothing to worry about as you may download Evozi’s Only
SG SSL server with Open SNI. Download it here. Just simply import it to your
HTTP Injector and you are good to go. You may want to change the SNI according
to your ISP.
Just what have
been said earlier, you can use Evozi’s built in server, or use your own VPS.
Another option is to register online with free SSL Services. My most favorite
site is MonthlySSH. So lets go ahead and begin.
Head over to Server at the top and choose SSH SSL Server and click on create now. It then shows up available Server locations and just select one. I prefer to use Singapore.
The final step is to put our SNI into its' place then press Start.
You can always check the Logs to see if connection is successful otherwise it will give you error message for you to check out and fix. Enjoy surfing.
Don't miss out our next post, and you will learn a lot.
